Main macOS partition removed after installing Linux on Fusion Drive

I have an iMac with a fusion drive. Everytime I install any distro by creating a secondary partition, I find that my main macOS partition gets removed.
Here's my doubt:
Fusion Drives have a limitation on macOS preventing them from having three or more partitions. As Linux installs, the process of creating a swap partition might kill the macOS partition. But, having that said, I think this is macOS, not the bootloader itself. So is my hypothesis correct, if yes or no why and what can I do to circumvent this problem?

Specs : iMac late 2015 edition (1080p)
