Madriva 2005 @ Intel536ep
 

Hi,
Last year i successfully installed Mandrake 10.1 and managed to get my Intel536ep 'winmodem' working fine and have used it for the last year.So full of confidence thinking i am a Linux ace i installed Mandriva 2005 loaded the Kernal source and proceded to get my modem up and running.But after 'Make clean' and 'Make 536' which both seemed to install correctly 'Make install' says Error /proc/modules does not have Intel536 installed.My question is do you think 10.2 needs a different Tarball then the 10.1 i down -loaded from Intel, and if so do you after wait till Intel writes one.

If LE2005 uses kernel 2.6.10+ kernel,
you might want to consider a new driver
release by Intel (4.71).
