ok i hav ethe mad dog geforce fx5600 plus, one my friends has the same card and he gets dual monitors right, well how do i do it on linux? he was using windows, cause i need a second monitor, anyone got any ideas? i'v already tried sax2 and yasti know it works cause when i start upt he ocmptuer it comes up with both screens, so i know they work, but how do it get it to stay that way?
ok, i figured out part of my problem, the monitor i was gonna use, i guess its so old that its not even supported, cause it wont come up with the log on screen on either one of the outs, gets to the suse loading screen and after that it just goes black, so now that leads me to anothe question, my bideo card has a dvi, vga, and svid, no the dvi and vga, do both monitors have to be either dvi, or vga or can they both be dvi and vga? in other words does it matter?
my plan is to get 2 19" displays, funn thing is, that there vga, no dvi, the one i was looking buying anyway, whats up with that? i thought lcds had dvi and crts had vga?
