ltmodem and mandriva 2006?


just installed mandriva 2006, and i'm having trouble getting my lucent modem to work. i've been hunting around, and i couldn't find any rpms built for my kernel, 2.6.12. i'm unsure on how to continue, anyone have any ideas?

A visit to http://linmodems.org/ should help. Check if your modem is supported or not. If yes than you are lucky.
