Lt Modem and RH 8.0 (yes I have searched and tried a few things)

I tried to compile from source but got various errors.
Everthing from can't find kernel headers (they R there) to my compiler being too new > v3.0.
I tried to force it with the kernel headers that are there but still no luck?

Has anyone managed to get this working?

When you're downloading a driver make sure it's for the kernel version you have. Usually older ones won't work. Post an error message for a such driver.

Recompile your kernel with the default config file for your system.
If you checked the box saying "Kernel source", the .config file for the compilation will be in the source directory.
This will generate the necessary header files.

Bert

P.S. You really need to post the last few error messages:

./configure >> PostMe.txt
