I have also read on some sites problems with lsi 1068e and smartd? as i said i dont know why this happends. i have more this and this only have happend to the disk that are connected to the lsi 1068e not to the other controllors. i am aslo way under when using power from the psu so power is not the problem.

smallpond 12-06-2014 07:31 AM

Are you running smartd? Make sure you don't run the periodic self tests on the disks. That can cause timeouts.

kiwifruktish 12-06-2014 12:16 PM

You mean to turn off smartd? So i dont run it on the disk connected to the card.

kiwifruktish 12-09-2014 02:10 AM

After waking up i understood "periodic" i have turned any thing off that could spin up the disk.

And for now it working as it should, i will report back if somethign happens ;)

Thanks for the help
