Looking for a NVidia budget card for Linux
 

Looking for something along the lines above..I've thought about a low-end Geforce 7-series card, like a 7300LE/GS/ or a 7600GS (Pushing it cause of price)

I don't need bleeding edge support really for high-end games, most I'd run is something like Tremulous or something of that effect. Not wanting to spend much more than $50-60 or so, just want something that will fully support Linux other than my card right now (ATI X800..I've had my battles and I'm just tired with that thing T_<, and I know the path I'm going is a potential downgrade from the X800, but I really don't care. I'm just plain-out tired of AMD/ATIs no-go Linux support.)

And there's probably a lot more..But I don't know. Something along the lines of cards like those, just want something with mediocore/decent 3D support for Linux-based games.

All of the 73xx and 77xx cards use the same driver, so they'll all be supported. Here's the list of supported cards.

NVidia FX5200
 

The low-end card recommended by MythTV users is the FX5200,
which is the minimum-wage card supporting MPEG decoding.
This unloads the CPU considerably, breathing new life into
EOL-ed CPUs, at least for some uses.

A 5600XT is more than enough to play that class of game ( I have one).

After some more research, I think that I'm going to go with this one:

By the reviews and the specs, it looks like a solid card, 128-bit and 400/800, 8 Pipes. Can't beat that.,also other than the fact that it is completely silent, which from the reviews, is true. Can't wait for this sucker to come in, first thing I'll do is boot up my PCLOS 2007/Sabayon 3.4e..hmm..can't decide. Probably go with Sabayon 3.4e, since it's newer. Who knows, also got OpenSUSE 10.2 and 10.3 beta burned. So many choices..:D.
