looking for a enable/disable mouse command to X
I'm using a laptop and it is really frustrating when I'm writing, to click on the touchpad mouse (by accident of course) with my palm, so I wonder if there is a command to enable or/and disable mouse in X?
I don't want to restart the X session or anything, just want to be able to type a command and get rid of the mouse or be able to use the mouse again. And no, I don't want to configure the mouse so that I can't left-click with the touchpad, when I'm using the mouse, I like that feature. Thanks! |
Are you using redhat/fedora?
Then you can try "service gpm stop" |
No, I'm using CRUX. Is there no other way? Maybe send stuff to X in some weird way?
