Logitech Wireless Mouse and Keyboard prob
I just recently purchased a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse and am having problems getting my mouse to work on the Mandrak system.

Can anybody tell me how I can install this thing?

Thanks in advance.

What exactly isnt working? There could be hundreds of different reasons, we need a little more information to help you.

What kind of mouse are you using now?
What protocol does the wireless mouse use? i.e USB, PS/2, Serial, etc.

I'm sorry, it is a USB setup.

The problem it seems is that the keyboard has no problem working but at the same time my wireless mouse doesn't seem to be picking it up.

And I cant just plug in another mouse and use that with the keyboard for some reason.

The CD that came with it isn't helping me for some reason.

SO I guess the main problem I think is that I cant get the drivers to install the mouse.

Look in your /etc/X11/XF68Config file, and find the section on mouses. Your mouse may be set to use PS/2 as the protocol, which I beieve is the default. Backspace PS/2 and type in USB, that may fix it.

You shouldnt have to install a driver, linux dosnet use drivers like windows does. I has modules, and they work differently
