Logitech USB Headset + EMU10K1
I did a search of the forums and I didn't find anything here, so I thought I'd post this question up as well.

I am running Mandrake Linux 10.0 Discovery (Retail CD - Retail Kernel build) running KDE3 and I have the ALSA EMU10K1 drivers installed for my Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS, which works fine...

The trick here, is, I also like to play UT2004 with VoIP using my Logitech USB Headset. I did this frequently in Windows XP and FINALLY after getting the last virus I got rid of Windows and installed Linux. I wouldn't go back to XP for anything.

But, that's besides the point.

I have to have the USB Headset plugged in, for it to work, and this has to be prior to booting to Linux.

Problem is, the USB headset takes precedence over my Audigy 2 ZS in Linux and thus it becomes the primary mixing device, so I get no audio from my 5.1 setup (which I love to game on). Now, in Windows this was apt to happen too, but I could configure the devices individually so that I could use my Audigy 2 ZS for output, and the USB Headset (it DOES have one earphone on it) for input. My question is, how can I set up the configuration for KDE so that I use my Audigy 2 ZS for output, and my USB Headset mic for recording/input? :newbie:
