Logitech MX700

Hey all,

Anyone here played with the Logitech MX700 Optical Cordless yet?

My roommate has one on his M$ box and wanted to know if he can use it in Linux as well. I said most likely, but then he asked the stumper question...

...will he still have use of all 7 or 8 buttons?

To this I don't know. I didn't see anything on Logitech's site about this nor did tech support know anything except they told me I might want to try the MAC drivers as they are similar to UNIX.

Basically, just looking to find out if there is support for this yet or maybe a starting point.

Thanks.

Got one for Christmas
Most of the buttons (5) and the wheel work in Linux.
IMO it is far better than my 'old' Logitech Cordless Optical mouse.
