Logitech g5 button mapping

heya guys, anyone know a "ButtonMapping" for the Xll/xorg.conf file that lets the 2 side buttons work as a foward and back in firefox? The buttonmapping for the slightly older MX series doesnt work (it doesnt have the sideways mouse wheel buttons)

Not using evdev if that makes any difference (all tutorials seem to say use that) because that driver and the linux Quake Wars game dont mix well.

Thanks guys.

Also would be nice if the DPI buttons worked as well if anyone has any ideas on that.
