Question Logitech Elite Keyboard, F# keys don't work?

Hey guys, I was just wondering if any one has had this problem...

I recently got my media keys to work on my logitech keyboard but my F1 -> F12 keys do not seem to be working. Any ideas? I'm runnign Slack 9 with X 4.3.0 Also, I have the keys binded properly under fluxbox... Thanks in advance!

What have you bound (is binded American spelling?)
the keys to in fluxbox?

And what are they _not_ doing as they are
supposed to?

You could try running xev to see whether
they are recognised properly by X...

Cheers,
Tink

When i run xev and press and F# button i get the following:

KeyRelease event, serial 24, synthetic NO, window 0x1800001,
root 0xae, subw 0x0, time 27823489, (286,191), root353,276),
state 0x10, keycode 118 (keysym 0x0, NoSymbol), same_screen YES,
XLookupString gives 0 bytes: ""

my ~/.xmodmap file looks like this:

keycode 144 = logitech_rew
keycode 145 = logitech_sms
keycode 146 = logitech_webcam
keycode 147 = logitech_itouch
keycode 148 = logitech_shopping
keycode 153 = logitech_fwd
keycode 160 = logitech_mute
keycode 162 = logitech_playpause
keycode 164 = logitech_stop
keycode 174 = logitech_voldown
keycode 176 = logitech_volup
keycode 178 = logitech_myhome
keycode 223 = logitech_user
keycode 229 = logitech_search
keycode 230 = logitech_favorites
keycode 233 = logitech_go
keycode 234 = logitech_arrow
keycode 236 = logitech_email
keycode 237 = logitech_media

should i add my F# keys to this file?

thanks.

It's could be the F-lock button. I couldn't figure mine out for the longest time, and that was the culprit. when the f-lock light is on the buttons work normally, but when the f-lock light is off, the button return different keycodes when pressed. This gives you quite alot of different buttons you could use!
