I'm new to all this stuff, but im trying to figure out how to run X with my logitech cordless mouse and keyboard combo in slackware 8.1. I got my monitor to work but i still her the "no core pointers" error. it also tried to load something called xf86OpenSerial, is it supposed to do that or does it think i have a serial mouse? I dont know whats going on, someone help.
