Hi all,
i have ati radeon 9500

monitor that supports 800x600@120Hz

i would like to know what should i do to use 800x600@120Hz, because i normally use 800x600 but it's locked @ 85Hz.

I don't know what should i edit and which file (Xf86Config or Xf86Config-4).

If your going to edit the files, you have to edit both.

This might help

Well I spent half the day resolving this to play quake 640x480@120hz refresh.

After trying gtf and xtiming at sourceforge with no success..
Okay, I'll just dump all the modes like one config showed. The heavens parted and it worked!
Make sure to comment out modes your monitor won't support.
This list could possibly be incomplete if your monitor is top of the line.
