Linux version compatible with Dell 320L

It was told by our Dell engineer that we can't install Linux in Dell
320L machine.

Can anyone suggest which version of Linux is compatible with Dell 320L machine?

I'd just download a linux Live CD and try it out. See if you can access the drives, network hardware, usb ports, etc. If it works on any of Knoppix, Ubuntu, Mandriva, etc then you should be able to install it.

It may be that the mainboard has some features that don't work properly with linux or don't have linux drivers.

Not sure what a 320L is.. is that an Optiplex 320 ? it looks like an Optiplex 320 from the pic I found but what can you tell fro thhow a case looks.. and I have Linux installed on my Optiplex 320..

Just because they don't support it doesn't necessarily mean it can't be done..
