Linux / Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio

I went into Synaptic to find drivers for my sound card but couldn't find any. Perhaps I overlooked. Perhaps sound cards have no Linux drivers. Could anyone help me?

Here are my computer specifications:

-OS: Ubuntu 9.04 (32 bit)
-Sound Card: Creative X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI Express Sound Card (works in Windows 7 with proper drivers)
-Motherboard: ASUS P7H55D-M EVO -mATX Intel H55 Chipset
-CPU: Dual Core i3 540 @ 3.06ghz, 4mb cache

I appreciate your input.

Thanks!

X-fi drivers are a more recent addition to the kernel than your kernel version. There are drivers available at http://connect.creativelabs.com/open...20Support.aspx
