clar77 Member Registered: May 2002 Location: Baltimore,MD Distribution: RH8.0 FC1/2.6.1 MacOsX 10.3 Posts: 53 Rep:	Linux, SGI, XFS and stereographics Hi all- Just a question if anyone out there has any experience with loading linux onto a SGI. I have an opportunity to get an older SGI indigo that has a bad disk. Assuming I can get another disk I'd like to set this up as a graphics box for work. I know SGI is dropping IRIX soon and I personally don't care for it much so I'd like to use linux. My main concens are can I load linux onto a SGI disk and if so can I take advantage of the SGI's dial box and stereographics with linux. thanks!! Chris
