Linux Scanner Recommendations

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good scanner for me. It needs to be Linux compatible (obviously), have an automatic document feeder, and preferably be USB (definitely not SCSI). I'd like to not drop an arm and a leg if possible, but I have to spend money then so be it. I also don't have a particular need for a multi-function device, but would be willing to buy one if that's the best option.

Before you post, I've already checked and a few other sites, but they're not really giving me many reviews and several are outdated. I'm looking (hopefully) for real world experiences with either scanners or multi-function devices that will work.

Thanks in advance.

Hp all in one Laser jet 3200, scanner (black and white w/ windows), copier, fax, printer.
Kooka in Debian will run the scanner part with color belive it or not So my best guess is that most Hp is supported under linux as they have dedicated drivers on there site.
