Linux sata hdd problem


Hai friends

i have one problem installing centos4 in 160Gb seagate sata harddisk
. while installing its it shows no hard drive were found. i think its a driver problem. pls help me were i wil get sata hdd driver for linux and how it installed . or any other solution for this .

You don't say what kind of controller/motherboard you're using, which is what you need the driver for.

The latest version is CentOS 5; I'd suggest loading that, since it comes with updated driver/hardware databases, and may solve your problem. Otherwise, you need to give us information about your hardware.
