Linux Mint 17.1 and LG external Super Multi DVD Rewriter GE20NU10 not recognized

Hi,

yesterday, my LG Super Multi DVD rewriter was ok and working. I ripped several cd's using K3b.
I bought it a few days ago (not new) and after just plugging it in, it worked, I was happy!
Not anymore, what could it be?
This is what lsusb reports, don't know what it means:
Code:
$ lsusb

How can I proceed?

Solved

Hi,

I just found that the power plug into the DVD itself could be pressed in a little better. That made the PC recognize it immediately.
I tried to recreate the problem, and yes, when the plug is not pressed that extra, the DVD *itself* has power and opens and closes, but is not recognised.

happy again!
