Linux LiveCD that detects SATA Optical Drive in Dell e520?

Does anyone know of a Linux LiveCD that detects my SATA optical drive in my Dell e520? Seems they're few and far between

EDIT: I also need it to detect the onboard NIC. Thanks!

FC6 detected my sata optical and hard drive, as well as PCLinuxOS
and Kanotix and Mandriva and Myah OS and Mepis and some others.

I apologize, I should have been more specific. I need it to detect both my SATA optical drive AND the onboard Intel NIC.
