Linux Laptop DELL rec's

Hi I live in Canada, and am a long time linux user. I want to buy a new laptop, and then use my pc for a multiple website server. Im confused with the mobile, pentium, and celeron technologies. What does linux support, which is faster, what video cards can I use etc.

Mobile's are fine on a laptop, but I would avoid celeron's like the plague.

For supported graphics cards, the Radeons that come with some/many Dell laptops work fine (eg. Latitude D600's), but for others you may wish to chech the LQ HCL.
