Linux Laptop

Hi, I have just recived a nice little HP omnibook which i am currently running slackware 10.1 on (10.1 because i didn't have 10.2 on CD and i don't have a DVD reader on the laptop. So anyway i compiled a new kernel 2.16.18, which at the time was the bleeding edge, now however, i believe the latest kernel version is 2.16.20 brb

The latest kernel version is 2.6.17.1. Are you having problems or anything?
