Linux Hardware List?

Where could I find a list of compatible Linux hardware? I'm specifically looking for a wireless adapter right now, but other things as well.

Have you tried the HCL? http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/sh...cat=10&ppuser= for wireless cards sorted by most compatible to least compatible. It's an invaluable resource.

With ndiswrapper, you should be able to get most wireless cards to work. It's not really that hard to use either. The other day I got a Linksys WMP11 v4 to work in Fedora Core 3. You can get ndiswrapper at http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/. The site provides good instructions for getting it to work, and the tutorials section here has a few articles on it.
