Linux AS 4 on core du 2

Hi,
i am trying to install Linux on intel core due 2 machine and when it boots from the CD, it stops when i see the last line on screen for probing PCI devices etc. Is there any issue of Installing RedHat Enterprise Linux Advance Server 4?
when i try to install RedHat Enterprise Linux Advance Server 3, it doesn't pick the drivers of hard drives(SATA) and asks for some valid drivers.
thanks

Salman Ahmed,
Did you try this, while booting though the CD1 of RH, pass the switch in boot options. This will load the driver for SATA.
boot: linux all-generic-ide noapic nolapic

ALL the best

Same problem again for both AS 3 and AS 4.
Following line is the last line i see while installing AS 4 after which no processing is done.

PCI: Probing PCI hardware (bus 00)

Regards
