linksys wpc11 wireless card

I recently purchased a linksys wpc11 ver3 card for my laptop running mandrake 9.1, brazenly thinking that I could configure it properly without first checking for support. So far its been a miserable failure. Just wondering if anyone else has had experience with this card and actually got it to work. I've since heard it said that there is no support for version 3 yet, but I just thought I would try posting anyway. Any input is greatly appreciated.

I have successfully installed a Linksys WMP11 (PCI card) with Debian and Slackware; however, I know nothing about Mandrake and nothing about PCMCIA.

This website provides drivers for wireless cards:

I used it with both installations.

I believe he has a HOWTO or something in progress.
