lineak + FC3 + xosd
 

ok so I got lineak to use most of my keys. I can fire up firefox, thunderbird, switch tracks in kaffeine, etc. But now, I'm starting to wonder if there is a way to make my Mute key work like a remote... I mean, mute/unmute. That would be cool. Another thing that bugs me is that I would like to have it autostart when I open up my session.

Then I tried the xosd thing but I can't compile it. So I say myself, the hell with it. So if I start from scratch, how could I get the xosd to work properly?

So here's my config:
Red Had Fedora Core 3
P3-1000 with 512 megs of ram
Gyration keyboard and mouse ultra combo (it was on the list, luckily)

Oh and I can't make lineakconfig work at all.
