LG Slim portable DVD writer

I am using KDE Plasma 5.27.10 and purchased today that device to copy music files from my CD music library.

But Dolphin doesn't get to "see" the files on the CD, so I can't copy them.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Real music CDs? No files to see.

Use a ripping program to convert to wav, ogg, mp3 or whatever.

There is a virtual CD file system that just displays sound tracks like files.

Problem is, in Dolphin, I only see a CD icon, nothing else and if I click it, it starts playing the content.
Where can I get any mp3 app?

Thanks

I took your suggestion and installed fre:ac and it works. I will also try K3B following another suggestion here.

Thanks again

Following your suggestion, I installed kd3, but prefer the fre:ac which simply imports the tracks from the C into ONE folder as mp3 files.

Thanks again

Try Konqueror; it lets you select things and 'drag-drop' them to different formats, depending on the extensions/codecs you have. Literally like copying files, but it transcodes as it copies. At least it *USED TO* work like that; your mileage may vary.

Installed it, BUT I don't manage to see the content of the CD disk, it mounts, but that's all
Thanks anyway
