All the disc has on is mp3s and videos, it was created under windows xp. The dvd drive reads cd data fine, it wont even accept commercial dvd data. The disc reads fine under windows using the same drive.

Help!!

Was this created as a multi-session disk? Was it 'locked' after you wrote it? Some programs will let you write data, then keep the session open, so you can add more later. The only way you can then access it is to use the software you wrote it with. Windows is notorious for having such things run 'invisibly', so you don't know you have problems, until later. Since the filesystem on the DVD is 'incomplete', linux may have a problem mounting it.

Can you read ANY data DVD's? Create them under linux, then try to read it. Check the DVD under windows, and see what it looks like.
