Lg Cd-rw
Hi,
Are the LG CD-RWs effected by MDK 9.1 or 10.1? I'm aware of the problem with 9.2.
I have both but am uneasy about installing them due to the LG CD-RW CDE 8083B.

This is where the drive gets destroyed by Mandrake, yes?
I don't know if the problem exists with either of those, but I would suggest upgrading to a newer version anyway. I think the latest in the Mandrake series is Mandriva 2006.

Mandriva 2006
Thank You Ian,
I have older hardware and MDK 9.1 worked well (excep I have a different CD-RW now.) I did have some trouble with MDK 10.1 and wonder if it would be more amplified in Mandriva 2006.
