Lexmark z611 drivers?

I just bought this printer from Walmart about 2 weeks ago and can't get it to install. I checked with Lexmark via email and I was told that there is no available linux driver for it but to try the z605 driver, which I did but it still won't work. Any ideas? The default driver that comes up when I try to install it is for Lexmark 3000. I tried that driver too but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to tell you, Lexmark is one of the worst when it comes to printer support for Linux. You can take a look at LinuxPrinting.org but they don't list the Z611 at all on their printer listing:

If it's not too late, I'd recommend returning the printer and going with a different brand if you really want to print in Linux.
