lexmark install script error

I am trying to install the linux driver for my lexmark usb z65, I have not had any trouble with other distros, but I am running Yoper right now. I get the error
Verifying archive integrity...tail: cannot open `+6' for reading: No such file or directory
Error in check sums 3618464304 3922816710

can anybody give some suggestions?

Hi eo697,
The error which appear "tail: cannot open '+6' for reading: No such file or directory" suggests me you are using an unconventional or outdated tail command. The "+6" means start list at the sixth line of the file instead of the end and, your tail is not recognizing the syntax. Try to update the corresponding package in your distribution or, get textutils package from GNU, compile it and install in your system.
