Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Lexar USB media...

I have this Lexar JumpShot USB device that I use to view images taken from my HP digital camera. I have a 48MB Compact Flash card I put into it.

Any idea how to make this thing work?

I plugged it in, but I didn't see it on my list of drives like I usually see in Windows.

Update: I got the device working but the Compact Flash won't auto mount when I put it in. I have to issue the follwoing command even though the card is in the reader:

mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/jumpdrive

Any idea how to make this mount when I put the Compact Flash card in?
