Unhappy LCD Display Drivers

Greetings all, I have some issues with LCD displays and Linux ie, no display drivers for the following:

Sony SDM S71
Samsung Syncmaster 151BM

Neither Samsung or Sony have any help to offer.

Has anyone encountered this problem and found a solution? If so please let me know via this thread or email as I am somewhat desperate to get these display going.

Many thanks in advance..

KwiRa here on LinuxQuestions seems to have his running in Gentoo. See if he will share his XF86Config file with you.

Can't help you with the Syncmaster. Sorry

John

Got the Sony HS73 working, seriously good display. I have given up on the Samsung and replaced it with a Sony SDM-S71.

Thanks to those who contributed.
