Laptop to Desktop server Migration

I am currently running a Dell Laptop with a Pentium M 2.0ghz with 2gb ram as my server. I need to free up my laptop so I need a new processor to throw in with my spare desktop parts laying around. I run Mandriva 2006 web server. I already have the mobo, ram, psu, case, fans, etc but I need a new processor. I dont want to spend more than 200 bucks on a new processor. My question is, would you go with a low end Opteron (IE. AMD Opteron 148 Venus Core) or something like a AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego Core. It has to be socket 939.

What was it? Others who may face the same situation may benefit from knowing what you decided, and why. Thanks

No problem. I was weighing my options between AMD 3800 + X2 and AMD 4000 + and Opteron 165 Denmark. While the Opteron 165 is the best choice (it has the 2meg lvl 2 cache) It was a little out of my price range so that was out. I threw out the 4000+ as well, I decided I would get more for my money with the dual core option, IMO dual-core is the way to go when running a server. So my choice wsa the 3800+ X2. For under 170 dollars at newegg you cant beat the price.
