Lag of detection of USB HW doing power on

Hi.
Doing power up of the system, the following USB device is not detected.

Bus 004 Device 002: ID 174c:55aa ASMedia Technology Inc. ASM1051E SATA 6Gb/s bridge, ASM1053E SATA 6Gb/s bridge, ASM1153 SATA 3Gb/s bridge, ASM1153E SATA 6Gb/s bridge.

After boot of system I need to power cycle the USB device, and then the system is working as it should.

Is there a way t rescan the system to make this device detected from command line, or is that impossible ?

Br.
Michael

Shot in the dark, probably the respective kernel module does not load during boot. Try adding it to initrd or otherwise force its loading during boot. Can't tell anything specific since we do not know what distro is used.
