LaCie USB/FireWire combo pc card
I'm using SuSE 9.2 and there seems to be a problem everytime I boot Linux and I have the LaCie combo pc card in the PCMCIA slot of the laptop.
I have a wireless USB adapter connected to the USB 1.1 port of the laptop and the wlan0 device doesn't initiate when I have the pc card in the PCMCIA slot. When the pc card isn't inserted, the system boots properly and the wlan0 is up and running without any problems.
I don't know why wlan0 doesn't start when the pc card is in the PCMCIA slot and I would be grateful for any suggestions and advice as to what might be wrong.
I have to add that in order for my wireless USB adapter to operate with Linux I have to use ndiswrapper because there aren't any native Linux drivers for it, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the problem that occurs when I boot SuSE 9.2 with the pc card inserted in its slot.
