Kubuntu suddenly "unable to locate printer" that Linux Mint still finds.

I have a Brother MFC-L2720DW printer, communicating via wifi with my desktop running Kubuntu 22.04. Today Kubuntu says it's "unable to locate printer." My laptop, running Linux Mint, on the same wifi network, has no problem printing on the same printer. And Kubuntu uses the wifi to communicate with the router and modem, no problem.

I had this problem once some months ago, and solved it by rebooting Kubuntu. But that doesn't work now. I tried switching drivers (two are offered for this model, plus I tried "generic"). Also, as I have two wifi networks, I tried switching that without success.

Thanks for other suggestions.

Can Kubuntu ping the printer?
Does the output of the command show the printer?

sudo lpinfo -v

Thanks to
After letting everything sit overnight, rebooting the routers (and the modem), for some reason I can now print.
Perhaps this will be an occasional problem for the duration of this configuration, but I wonder whether I can troubleshoot at all while things are working.

Thanks to MichaelK for the suggestion
