jsn792006 LQ Newbie Registered: Apr 2006 Distribution: Kubuntu 11.04 Posts: 5 Rep:	kppp report Mandriva detects my Agere Systems AC'97 Modem but when using kppp the only options i get are: dev/ttyS0 - Kppp reports can't find modem dev/ttyS1 - Kppp says segmentation fault dev/ttyS2 - kppp says segmentation fault dev/ttyS3 - Modem Busy dev/ttyS4 - Modem Busy When logged on as root the segmentation fault doesn't happen. It just sits on initilizating modem. The scanmodem command is not reconized in mandriva.
