kodak easyshare c330

Hi,
does anybody know anything about the compatibility of Kodak c330 with Linux? The only thing i have found so far- in a review in amazon.com, is this:

MacOS X users used to be able to connect any camera and have it mounted automatically will be disapointed. The camera insists on working only with the provided sofware, which means that you will have to throw your camera away when the software ceases to be updated and you move to another operating system version (possibly 2-3 years, 5 years maximum). It also means that Linux and BSD users will have trouble with this camera.

In the HCL, there are many models with good grading, which however belonged to the Easyshare CX line.

I have successfully connected this camera under FC3 using the digiKam software.

I put all users who needed access to the camera in the usb group, and a little quirk I have discovered - you must have at least one image stored in internal memory if digiKam is to see those in the SD card.

Mike.
