Lightbulb Knoppix Live For School IMacs

Hey guys,
I've been thinking of trying to get the whole school to switch all of their computers over to linux, but the problem is, they're all Macs . I was thinking before I propose the idea, I might present Linux to a few students and teachers to see how they like it. I've been looking all over the place to try to find a Live Linux CD (Most preferably Knoppix) that will work on the *original* IMacs (with OS 9), and the newer ones with OS X.

All help is very appreciated =D
