Post Kludge/Fix:XFree 4.2.0 S3 968 IBM ramdac not supported

Not sure if this would help someone with a S3 968 based video card with a IBM ramdac.

Some of these cards belong to the Diamond Stealth video 64 series.

The symptom are as follows:

You own a S3 968 based video card with an IBM ramdac (e.g. 525, 526, 640). After upgrading to XFree 4.2.0 release (e.g. with a distribution upgrade). When you tried to start X windows, the startup fails and the following message is found in the XFree startup log:

(--) s3(0): Attached RAMDAC is IBM 526
(--) s3(0): This IBM RAMDAC is NOT supported by this driver, aborting
(EE) s3(0): Ramdac probe failed

I've posted the patch on my web at:

Note that the patch/fix is experimental, hence, u'd take your chances with that.
