KinetiZ 7B ,GeForce2 MX and nvidia drivers problem

Hallo all.
I have QDI KinetiZ 7B via KT133 chipset and GeForce2MX. And on my machine it's not possible to install nvidia linux drivers. I had 2 distributions and it's always the same. Last line in log:
Setting Mode 1024x768
And then Black screen. One times I have tried to instal Win XP :-( and the instalation failed.
I have very old Bios. And today I read that some newer bios have fixed this problem for win xp.
Do you somebody think that this new bios can help?
Or anybody have with similar machine the same problem?
Please help.
My luck is that I have GeForce because older cards must have original nvidia drivers for xv.
This is my only luck:-(((

Did you modify your /etc/X11/XF86Config file after installing the driver and before rebooting?

Are you installing the driver after killing X and getting back to the command line?

Re: geForce and nvidia

Of course. I'm 100% sure about the installing. On other machines it works perfect
