Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Question KG7-Raid Maximum Hard Disk Size?

I've read the KG7-Raid manual and they didn't
say anything about the maximum Hard Disk Size
that they can support.

I have the latest Bios (DS BIOS) --
www.abit-usa.com/product...ories=1&model=30 It's said :
"Update HPT370 BIOS version v2.34 to support Hard Drive
larger than 136GB.The RAID function is for KG7-RAID only".

Yes, I have KG7-Raid, but it's not clear whether the update
is also to support the normal IDE interface.

So my question is how do I know the maximum Hard Disk Size
that the BIOS can support?
