Question Keyboard xorg.conf


Hi,

I am trying to configure a unknow keyboard Staco system keyboard M713116, but i dont know what file i need to change, i tried to configure a generic keyboard in xorg.conf just like this:

Is there any different file to change?

Hi,

did you try change the config files at /usr/share/X11/xkb?


PS: this may change according distros...

yes..at /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/latin, /etc/default/console-setup and /usr/share/X11/xkb/geometry/pc

i tried to build a new map, but it didn't work
