Keyboard stopped working after Xfree86 Update

I'm using Mandrake 10.0
I updated my Xfree86 to 4.4.0 and went to bed for the night, the next day when I turned on my computer, my Keyboard wouldn't work at the login screen. What should I do?

I seem to recall reading something about the keyboard driver name changing,
but I thouhgt that was with Xorg 6.8, not xfree86 4.4.0:
keyboard <-> kbd

or something like that.

You should look for/at the file `/var/log/Xfree86.0.log ', it will tell you more about
how X starts up than you'll ever want to know.

HTH,
