keyboard shortcut for poweroff, sleep, wakeup

I have some extra keys in the keyboard for poweroff, sleep, wakeup. Though these work under windows, i don't know how to enable them in the linux. I am using Fedora Core 4 with 2.6.13-1.1532_FC4 kernel on Pentium 3 (katmi) processor.

Thank you,

with regards,
