keyboard numpad is used as mouse even if I don't want it

Hi there,

A friend of mine has given me a CM Storm Devastator keyboard. I plugged it in, but when i try to use the numpad, it moves the pointer. In the settings the option "Move the pointer using the keyboard" is not checked and obviously numlock is on. I'm running Slackware 14.1 with kernel 3.12.38 (compiled by myself). How can I return to use my numpad normally?

thanks
Francexi

Solved, I enabled the option "Switches PointerKeys with Shift+Numlock" in Keyboard->Advanced->Compatibility option and I pressed Shift+Numlock. It did the magic.
