Keyboard doesnt work in X


hehehe never done this with lynx before :-D

anyway. annoying problem cuz i dunno wth is goin on. I installed slackware 9 last night (cuz its sexy ) and finally get it workin, playin in KDE when all the sudden the keyboard goes boom. uber-frozen. no led or nuttin. but its still plugged in. so i get outta kde and when i get to the console the bloody thing works fine. tried it with 2 other keyboards and still dead so im thinkin its sumpting to do with X. any help?

oh you guys aughta have a field day with this...
i go in to kde, switch and in the control panel i take off "Use slow keys" and "Use bounce keys" and now my keyboard works fine.

any ideas?
